I’m Lauren, a Learning and Teaching Support Officer at the University of Leeds. I’m a founding member of Voices for the Library and help run the Save Doncaster Libraries Campaign. I’ll be starting PhD research about the role of public libraries in supporting and encouraging democratic engagement in January 2012. I’ll be the Vice President of CILIP from January 2012 and President in 2013.
